BlackRain is back with a bang, dropping an explosive new single: “Unleash the Fury.” Inspired by the flamboyant hard rock of the 80s and infused with synth wave influences, the track blends razor-sharp riffs, anthemic choruses, and cinematic atmospheres.
The music video, released simultaneously, immerses the band in a neon-noir aesthetic, with flashes of fluorescent light and intense boxing sequences, serving as a direct tribute to the spirit of the Rocky saga.
“I really wanted to fill the video with flashing neon lights, like a sort of luminous chaos that perfectly matches the song’s energy,” explains Matthieu de la Roche, the band’s bassist and co-director of the video.
Also at the helm, BlackRain’s frontman Swan brought his vision by filming training scenes with his friend, boxer Sebastian Rodriguez. “This collaboration means a lot to us. We wanted to pay tribute to everyone who, like Sebastian, trains every day to become a better version of themselves. It’s our way of connecting with all these everyday heroes,” he shares.
With “Unleash the Fury,” BlackRain delivers a blazing comeback, combining retro power with urban modernity—an anthem to perseverance and the will to win.
